The Santa Barbara Museum of Art is hosting a leisurely 15-night voyage this summer that explores some of the most beautiful and historically significant sites on the Adriatic and Ionian seas.

The cruise embarks from Venice, Italy, and disembarks in Drobovnik, Croatia. Along the way, participants will have the opportunity to explore the medieval town of Piran, in Slovenia; Ancona, Urbino, Crotone and Syracuse, in Italy; several lesser-known sites in Greece; the 2,500 years of history represented by the ruins of Butrint, Albania; and Split and Korcula in Croatia.

Onboard will be art historian Eric Frank, of Occidental College; Anne-Marie Bouché, an art history professor at Florida Gulf Coast University; and Nigella Hillgarth, executive director of the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla, who will lecture on topics related to the destinations.
