I was honored and thrilled to be a guest on the most recent edition of the Season Pass Podcast, a weekly discussion about theme parks and roller coasters.

I spoke with co-hosts Doug Barnes and Brent Young for more than an hour about past, present and future rides and attractions at theme parks in Southern California, Florida and around the world. You can listen to the podcast using the player above, at the Season Pass website or by visiting iTunes.

It was a wide-ranging conversation that focused on the virtues of Disneyland” href=”https://www.latimes.com/travel/deals/themeparks/disneyland/”>Disneyland, the sins of Disney California Adventure, the rise of Harry Potter” href=”https://www.latimes.com/travel/deals/themeparks/wizarding-world-of-harry-potter/”>Wizarding World of Harry Potter and the ongoing coaster war between Six Flags Magic Mountain” href=”https://www.latimes.com/travel/deals/themeparks/six-flags-magic-mountain/”>Six Flags Magic Mountain and Ohio’s Cedar Point. Along the way, we also touched upon what’s new and what’s next at Legoland Florida, Disney World” href=”https://www.latimes.com/travel/deals/themeparks/disney-world/”>Disney World and Hong Kong Disneyland” href=”https://travel.latimes.com/daily-deal-blog/index.php/hong-kong-disneyland-5811/”>Hong Kong Disneyland.

Toward the end of the podcast, I ran through my Top 10 new theme park attractions for 2011 (and threw in my new No. 1).

The casual chat went by quickly, and we managed to hit only half the topics on our list. So hopefully, Doug and Mark will have me back again.
