Participants spend the night at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel in Williams, Ariz., departing Williams midmorning on a historic railway steam train for the 65-mile trip to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon. At the rim, they board a bus for a narrated tour and return to the train in midafternoon for the trip back to Williams. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included.

The hotel: The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel has 288 rooms and was designed to resemble nearby historic structures, including the Williams Depot. It has an enclosed pool, hot tub and exercise room.
