Soak up the scenery on an eight-day luxury self-guided walking tour of the Lake District, England’s newest World Heritage Site. Day one begins in Windermere, home of England’s largest natural lake.

Other itinerary highlights include a guided Beatrix Potter walk that includes a visit to her home, Hill Top; a guided walk/climb of Helvellyn, England’s third-highest mountain; and a William Wordsworth walk that includes two of his homes, both open to visitors.

Dates: Available year-round

Price: From $3,195 per person, double occupancy. Includes luxury accommodations, breakfasts, transfers for guests and luggage, and one day of guided walks. International airfare not included.
