Grab and go at Guy Savoy in Vegas’ Caesars Palace? Yes, you can

Grab-and-go food from Michelin-starred chef Guy Savoy? It’s happening at Caesars Palace.

From a $5 pastry to a $110 entree of line-caught French sea bass, Savoy and staff are catering to people with various appetites and budgets.

As the chef’s upscale Restaurant Guy Savoy celebrates its 10th anniversary, Savoy has opened a second eatery at Caesars called Brioche that doesn’t have a single table.

It’s the French chef’s new venture into carryout – or what a news release described as “quick service” – cuisine. As the name implies, the place features various takes on the flaky French pastries.

Savoy already offers the same concept at his Goût de Brioche in Paris.

The brioche cost $4.95 each and are available in such varieties as almond with candied fruit and Nutella with peanut butter. The savory options include onion confit and prosciutto with cheese.

The pastries are also used in brioninis, sandwiches with fillings such as chicken pesto ($13) and prosciutto, tomato and cheese ($14).

Various coffees plus bottled beverages including soft drinks and beer, Champagne and wine are also served at Brioche, just off the resort’s main lobby.

The pastry shop is open 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
