The benefit for animal- rescue groups will have a lake jumping contest for the pooches and demonstrations by the Squaw Valley Avalanche Dogs and more.
When, where: Sept. 15 and 16 at the Village at Squaw Valley USA, at the base of the resort on Squaw Valley Road in Olympic Valley.
Admission: Free. Wine tasting is $25 per day and includes a commemorative glass.
