Times reader Boni Peluso captured this shot of Rhyolite, Nev., a ghost town about 100 miles northwest of Las Vegas. In its heyday, Rhyolite had a population of about 10,000. Today, it’s a tourist destination dotted with dilapidated banks, stores and homes.
