San Francisco’s “other” bridge -- the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge -- marks its 75th year as the span of choice for access to the East Bay. The bridge is a year older than the more famous Golden Gate Bridge, which will hit the 75-year mark in May 2012. A new ferry cruise will begin sailing under both bridges starting in May.

The Bridge 2 Bridge Cruise from Red and White Fleet ferries will sail in a 90-minute loop daily, taking in the waterfront and skyline of San Francisco along the way. Tours leave at 3:30 p.m. May 25 to Sept. 5. Tickets cost $36 for adults, $24 for children 5 to 17, younger than 5, free. Prices don’t include tax.

Other ferry cruises this spring in San Francisco Bay:

-- A new Indian Buffet Sunset Cruise from late April to September that features music and a three-course Indian buffet with audio segments in English and Hindi.
