Lake Tahoe: Six-pack lift ticket for area resorts on sale for $299
- Share via
Snow has started falling in Lake Tahoe’s mountains, though ski resorts aren’t scheduled to open until mid- to late November. But boarders and skiers revved up for the season might want to snag a six-pack -- six lift tickets at area resorts for $299 -- before the season begins.
The deal: Ski Lake Tahoe Six-Pack Lift Ticket is on sale now for the 2011-12 season. Here’s how it works: Each ticket can be redeemed for lift tickets at one of two resorts. Participating properties include Heavenly, Kirkwood, Mt. Rose-Ski Tahoe, Heavenly, Sierra-at-Tahoe, Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley USA. Holiday blackout dates and other restrictions apply. (Check out the FAQs for all the details.)
When: The coupons are good until April 30, or the end of the ski season.
Details: It doesn’t take an Einstein to figure out that lift tickets average out to $50 each day with this deal. Thought ski resorts haven’t yet posted prices for the upcoming season, Squaw Valley last year charged $86 for a day lift ticket for an adult. (That’s in winter, without any discounts or specials.)
The deal offers some early savings for those who want to sample the slopes at different resorts. Note the six-pack ticket is one-price-fits-all (no children or teen prices); it’s available online or by requesting an order form online.
