Share

Mountain High, which bills itself as Southern California’s closest winter resort, is offering Freedom Passes for the upcoming ski and snowboard season starting at as low as $299. This autumn sale, with prices as much as 57% off, begins Saturday and runs through Nov. 6.

These passes are good any day or night the resort is open, with no restrictions.

Located in the San Gabriel Mountains near Wrightwood, Mountain High has three ski and snowboard areas that feature trails for the whole family, some of the best terrain parks in the region, and night skiing Wednesdays-Sundays in peak season.

Benefits of the Freedom Pass include free tickets to the North Pole Tubing Park, $20 off weekday zip-line tours and $10 off adult ski or snowboard lessons. Should your travels take you to Washington state, this deal will allow you to ski and snowboard free at Stevens Pass Resort east of Seattle.

And for first responders, Mountain High will give a free Buddy Ticket ($69 value) to those who purchase their season passes by Sept. 10.

Freedom Passes may be purchased at Mountain High beginning Saturday, by calling (888) 754-7878 or by going to mthigh.com/season-pass-sale. New customers can compare savings, and existing pass holders can reactivate last year’s passes to avoid new processing fees.

The resort also is offering a new layaway option that divides the cost of the pass into three payments. Purchases must be made by Sept. 30 to take advantage of the layaway offer.
