Laguna Beach: A little toasting and a little tasting at Uncorked

Laguna Beach will pop its cork at a new foodie event on March 10 that could unleash your inner Bacchus, the Roman god of wine.
Laguna Beach Uncorked, an international wine and food festival, is the signature event of the March 8-11 Laguna Beach a la Carte, which includes cooking demonstrations, restaurant offers and more. Half the proceeds from Uncorked will benefit CHOC Children’s Hospital.
Guests will receive complimentary parking, a commemorative wine glass and tastings from 25 wineries around the world including Axel (Chile), Beacon Hill (Oregon), Belasco de Baquedano (Argentina), Bernardus (Carmel Valley), Boekenhoutskloof (South Africa), Chateau Montelena (Napa), Domaine Serene (Oregon), Famille Perrin (France), Fuedo Maccari (Italy), Louis Michel & Fils (France) and Penfolds (Australia).
Cismontane Brewing Co. will offer tastes of its microbrews, and Ty Ku Sake will offer sips of sake.
Among the 25 participating restaurants are 230 Forest Avenue, Beach House, Broadway by Amar Santana, Claes Ovation, the Deck, Dizz’s as Is, Eva’s Caribbean Kitchen, French 75, House of Big Fish & Ice Cold Beer, Katsuya, K’ya Bistro Bar, Laguna Culinary Arts, Las Brisas, Mosaic Bar & Grille at Montage and Watermarc Restaurant.
Musical entertainment from Angelika Wilson and Miguel De Alonso will round out the festivities.
