Gear: System lets Mom and Dad make fresh, healthful foods for baby

Share

Health-conscious parents traveling with babies have an on-the-go ally in the new Fresh Squeezed Squeeze Station from Infantino, a manufacturer of do-it-yourself supplies for making, storing and serving little ones on the fly (or road).

The Infantino system consists of a 9-by-10-by-5-inch plastic stand with three slots for three included 4-ounce transparent food pouches. Snap the three included feeder tubes over the pouches, attach the little hand-operated soft rubber press to the top of a tube, and mash in fresh veggies and/or fruit.

Then move the press over to the next tube with the same or a different concoction for meals or snacks. The Squeeze Station stand has a non-skid base and comes with 10 BPA-, PVC- and phthalate-free squeeze pouches with tops, three tubes and one hand-press, all dishwasher safe.

Additional prep tools, such as pouches, funnels, travel spoons and a little electric purée blender also are available.

Infantino Squeeze Station costs about $25, and a 50-pack of squeeze pouches is about $17.
