Would-be pickpockets will have to be extra crafty to lift a wallet from a new line of travel clothing designed with security in mind.
The unisex Pick-Pocket Proof Adventure Pants from Clothing Arts have multiple-layered pockets, the most fortified of which are dual internal front pockets concealed under zippered pockets, which are in turn protected by button flaps.
There’s also a hidden passport pocket inside a back cargo pocket. Cargo pockets expand to accommodate guidebooks, or can be snapped closer to the body for a trimmer look.
The pants, made of a slash-resistant nylon or nylon/cotton blend, provide the benefits of a hidden money belt, without the hassle and bulk.
Available in khaki, green or gray. Pick-Pocket Proof Adventure Pants are about $110.
