Shake Shack debuts its second Las Vegas location

Share

Shake Shack, a burger restaurant with a rabid following, now has a second location in Las Vegas. The company, based out of New York City, just opened a restaurant at Downtown Summerlin, the year-old shopping mall on the west side of Las Vegas just south of Red Rock Resort.

The company, which promotes itself with cheeky marketing materials that dub it a “roadside” burger stand, offers a lineup of dishes that include beef burgers with no hormones added, hot dogs grilled on a flattop, crinkle-cut fries and a rotation of frozen custards.

Diners can even order Shake Shack’s own Brooklyn Brewery ShackMeister Ale as well as Ninkasi, Fat Tire and Sin City seasonal beers.

Shake Shack has its own red and white wines from Napa Valley’s Frog’s Leap Vineyard and vinos from Kings Estate, Sonoma-Cutrer, A to Z Wineworks and 7 Deadly Zins.

Shake Shack, which plans to open in West Hollywood at the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and West Knoll Drive in 2016, likes to keep its decor eco-friendly, so recycled and sustainable materials turn up in the reclaimed cedar from barns on the walls and salvaged Oregon white oak logs converted into wooden planks. Even the tabletops are made out of former bowling alley lanes.
