Jason Mraz brings his folksy set to the Chelsea stage in Vegas

Share

In his 15-year career, Jason Mraz has gone from singing in San Diego coffeehouses to the big stage at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. He will play the Chelsea with room for 3,200 at the resort on March 14.

His folksy yet guitar-heavy songs with catchy lyrics have become a staple at weddings. The 37-year-old Mraz broke out with “The Remedy (I Won’t Worry)” in 2002 and hasn’t looked back at those small gigs since then.

His single “I’m Yours” earned two Grammy nominations after selling 48 million copies. He won those gold gramophone awards for “Make It Mine” and “Lucky.”

Rock-folk indie band Raining Jane from Los Angeles opens. Mraz recorded his fifth and first-ever acoustic album, “Yes!,” with the band last year.
