See five alternative rock bands for just $40 during Las Vegas radio station X107.5’s “Our Big Concert” when it takes over the Boulevard Pool at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Thursday, May 28.

Cage the Elephant, Dirty Heads, New Politics, Big Data and Joywave all perform poolside for this show. The pool is covered during the show, providing a watery floor for fans, and each show is projected on the resort’s massive digital pylon on the Strip.

Cage the Elephant released the single “Free Love” in late 2007, followed by a self-titled album the following year. Their follow-up album “Thank You Happy Birthday” featured the hit single, “Shake Me Down.” Other big hits include “Come A Little Closer” and “Ain’t No Rest for the Wicked.”
Punk rocker Dustin Bushnell (Duddy B) and rapper Jared Watson (Dirty J) make up Huntington Beach-based Dirty Heads. Their debut album “Any Port in a Storm” featured the hit track “Lay Me Down.” Dirty Heads released its second album “Cabin By The Sea” in 2012 followed by its 2013 acoustic album “Home-Phantoms of Summer.”

Danish indie rockers New Politics perform a blend of pop, rock and electronic dance music. The band is probably best known for the singles “Yeah Yeah Yeah” and “Harlem.”
Call Big Data paranoid, but the group’s distrust of technology and The Cloud brought them together to make electronic music. The band’s first studio album, “2.0,” came out in March.

Joywave’s debut album “How Do You Feel Now?” features singles, “Somebody New” and “Tongues.”

Tickets are $40.

Tickets: Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, (877) 893-2003
