Five Finger Death Punch, Papa Roach rock Las Vegas in September
Reporting from Las Vegas — Two bands that have killer live shows take the stage at the 4,255-capacity The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel when Five Finger Death Punch and Papa Roach perform on Saturday, Sept. 19.
This marks the first time the two bands have co-headlined shows. Together they have 10 No. 1 singles and more than 25 Top 10 singles. The bands let their fans set the tour agenda by voting online, and 1.5 million registered their favorite city as a destination.
“This tour is shaping up to be the perfect storm,” says Five Finger Death Punch guitarist Zoltan Bathory in a press statement. “We are really good friends with Papa Roach so for years we’ve been talking about touring together and it’s finally coming together in a big way.”
The bands also launched a video about the tour that contains a preview of the first new single, “Jekyll and Hyde,” from Five Finger Death Punch’s forthcoming studio album, “Got Your Six,” which will debut on Aug. 28. The Las Vegas-based metal band gets its name from classic martial arts cinema.
Vacaville, Calif.-based rock band Papa Roach just released “Face Everything and Rise” fromits eighth studio album “F.E.A.R.” and this year marks the 15th anniversary of “Infest,” the band’s breakthrough album that sold more than 8 million albums to date.
Los Angeles-based metal band In This Moment and Pennsylvania’s rap-rock and alternative metal band From Ashes To New open.
