Comedian Nick Swardson performs in Las Vegas for his October birthday

Reporting from Las Vegas — Comedian Nick Swardson plans to spend his 39th birthday in Las Vegas.
Swardson, perhaps best known for his recurring role as Terry Bernadino in “Reno 911,” performs as part of the Aces of Comedy at the Mirage on Friday, Oct. 9.
The star of “Nick Swardson’s Pretend Time” has co-written and produced movies such as “Grandma’s Boy,” “Malibu’s Most Wanted” and “Benchwarmers.”
Swardson got his start in standup on stage at the Acme Comedy Co. in Minneapolis when he was 18. He eventually won the title of funniest person in the Twin Cities.
Most recently, he performed the voice of the character Troy on the animated series “Chozen.”
