Cher to debut comeback single on finale of ‘The Voice’

Cher is ready to make her big comeback, and she’s taking to “The Voice” to do it.

The pop icon has announced she will make her first live TV performance in more than a decade on the hit NBC singing competition.

The singer, the only artist to have a No. 1 single on the Billboard pop charts in each of the last six decades, is set to debut her new single, “Woman’s World,” on the finale of the show June 18.

Fans have long been waiting for the singer’s follow-up to 2001’s “Living Proof,” which spawned one of the most successful tours in history from a female artist, grossing $394 million after 605 shows.

The single is the title track from her first album in more than a dozen years. Details on the album and single are scarce for now, but the singer has reportedly tapped fellow pop queens Pink, Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera for the disc.

Cher’s new album is set to arrive in stores Sept. 24.
