Justin Bieber deposition video surfaces and it’s hilarious

Share

Don’t ask Justin Bieber about Usher, Selena Gomez, where he’s traveled, who works for him -- or pretty much anything.

The 20-year-old pop star sat through a 4½-hour deposition last Thursday where he was grilled by a lawyer representing a paparazzo who claimed one of Bieber’s bodyguards attacked him last year.

Apparently, it didn’t go so well.

In video clips of the lengthy legal proceeding that surfaced online early Monday, Bieber appears annoyed and even bored by the line of questioning posed by the pap’s attorney.

TMZ, naturally, pieced together highlights of the ordeal, and it’s a cringe-worthy montage of this cutest bad boy’s worst behavior.

He hems and haws at some of the questions, offers a smug smile or wink at other queries and even pretends to fall asleep on the lawyer.

At his “best,” he curses a soft-spoken court reporter, claims he has no idea whether he’s ever been to Australia (he has, FYI) and spirals into an emo meltdown when the lawyer brings up Gomez, Bieb’s on-and-off pop-star girlfriend.

“This isn’t journalism?” Bieber asked. Then he let out some heavy sighs and put his head in his hand before he started some incredibly sassy finger-waving and repeatedly admonished the lawyer, saying, “Don’t ask me about her again.”

The most hilarious exchange -- all of it’s brilliantly awesome, though -- begins when Bieber is asked whether he knows Raymond Usher (it’s Usher Raymond for the unaware, which seems to be only this lawyer). And the rest goes a little something like this:

Bieber: “Usher, yeah that sounds familiar.”

Lawyer: “Isn’t it true that Usher was instrumental in starting your career?”

Bieber: “I was found on YouTube and I think I was detrimental to my own career.”

The singer’s lawyer came to the rescue and corrected his confused client with the right word (the word he was looking for was “instrumental”), but the irony sticks.

For those who care, plenty of mind-numbing clips can be watched here. Check out the epic meltdown when Gomez is brought up:
