Baja East designers hold trunk show at Elyse Walker

Baja East designers Scott Studenberg and John Targon — finalists in this year’s prestigious CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund competiton — are scheduled to show off what they’ve called their “loose luxury,” “ambisexual” line in a trunk show from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday at Elyse Walker. The boutique is at 15306 Antioch St., Pacific Palisades.

Award-winning jewelry designer Eddie Borgo is to showcase his latest collection as well as his new lines of handbags and jewelry boxes at Nordstrom at the Grove from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday. Borgo received the Accessories Council’s Evolution Award in November, and he provided jewelry for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. The Grove is at 189 The Grove Drive, Los Angeles.

Esquivel is offering men’s and women’s shoes at 60% to 80% off retail in a sample sale on Saturday. The sale is from 10 a.m to 6 p.m. at the Esquivel showroom, 8309 W. 3rd St., Los Angeles.

Vie Active has a holiday sample sale planned from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at 310 Venice Way, Venice.

Love Adorned in Santa Monica is planning to feature Blair Lauren Brown jewelry in a trunk show from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday. The guest who finds a gold nugget in his or her Champagne glass will receive a piece of custom jewelry. Love Adorned is at 2923 Main St.

Jewelry line Sydney Evan has scheduled two trunk shows this week. The line’s designer, Rosanne Karmes, will appear at Neiman Marcus in Canoga Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday. The store is at Westfield Topanga at 6550 Topanga Canyon Blvd. At the second trunk show, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday at Neiman Marcus in Beverly Hills, 9700 Wilshire Blvd, guests can create a beaded bracelet or charm necklace alongside Karmes.

San Lorenzo Bikinis celebrated the opening of its new store at the Point on Dec. 10. The store is at 830 S. Sepulveda Blvd., Ste. 108, in El Segundo.
