Deal: $159 rooms for weekend stays at Fairmont Chicago
If you’re heading to Chicago for a fall or winter getaway, check out the Fairmont Chicago’s third-night-free offer. Under this deal, weekend room prices start as low as $159 a night, a considerable savings at this downtown luxury hotel.
The deal: The Weekend Escape offers three nights for the price of two but only Fridays through Sundays. The offer is flexible in that you may cancel within a given window period without penalty.
The hotel has a great downtown location at 200 N. Columbus Drive. You can walk to the city’s Millennium Park and Riverwalk. And, if you go in late November or later, you can go ice skating at the Maggie Daley Park Skating Ribbon too.
When: The offer is good Fridays through Sundays until March 31, based on availability.
Tested: I checked availability for Oct. 23 to 26 and found the cheapest room for $199 or a total of $696 for three nights, including taxes.
By comparison, the best available price for the same dates would cost $299 a night. One word of warning: Go car-less, as valet parking will set you back $70 a night.
