A 30-year-old man described by authorities as a pimp was sentenced to five years in prison for trafficking a 16-year-old girl and sexually abusing her after meeting her on a social networking website, the Orange County district attorney’s office said Monday.

Donshawn Eugene Miller, 30, drove the teen, identified as Jane Doe, to a motel room and had “unlawful sexual intercourse” with her, prosecutors said in a statement.

Miller then directed “his primary prostitute” to show the victim “prostitution routes” in Anaheim and discuss prices to charge customers, according to prosecutors.

Miller “posted advertisements containing sexually explicit photos of Jane Doe on a website known for prostitution. Miller pimped Jane Doe and took the money the victim made,” prosecutors said.

The crimes took place between Aug. 10 and Aug 23, prosecutors said. An Anaheim police officer spoke to the victim, which sparked an investigation that led to Miller’s arrest in September.

Miller pleaded guilty to counts including human trafficking, pimping a minor and unlawful sexual intercourse, prosecutors said. He was also sentenced to mandatory lifetime sex offender registration.
