Video shows four men who robbed Palos Verdes Estates couple

Surveillance footage released Tuesday shows the four men who tied up and robbed a couple at gunpoint inside their Palos Verdes Estates home over the weekend.

The robbery occurred about 8 p.m. Saturday in the 1700 block of Lower Paseo La Cresta, according to the Palos Verdes Estates Police Department.

Four masked men walked past cars parked in the home's garage before entering through an unlocked door, police said.

Once inside, the men held the couple at gunpoint, tied them up and searched the home for about half an  hour, police said. The thieves made off with jewelry of an unknown value.

After the men left, the couple freed themselves and called 911. One person was slightly injured, police said.

The crime remains under investigation, and it's unknown if the couple was targeted or chosen at random, Det. Charles Reed said.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Palos Verdes Estates Police Detective Bureau at (310) 378-4211.
