Lakers star Kobe Bryant will play in his first game Sunday since suffering a torn Achilles' tendon last season.
(Wally Skalij / Los Angeles Times / December 7, 2013)
Where: Staples Center.
On the air: TV: TWC SportsNet, TWC Deportes; Radio: 710, 1330.
Records: Lakers 10-9, Raptors 6-12.
Record vs. Raptors (2012-13): 1-1.
Update: Kobe Bryant returns against a team that hasn't beaten the Lakers at Staples Center since 2001, a string of 10 consecutive games. Despite their poor record, the Raptors are close to the top of the Atlantic Division, trailing Boston (9-12) by 1½ games. Only three players average double-figure scoring for Toronto: DeMar DeRozan (21.3 points), Rudy Gay (19.4) and Kyle Lowry (14.3).
