Update -- Forget about tonight or Saturday, the date to be circled on the calendar comes next week. That would be Monday, when the NHL holds its draft drawing. The Kings are in last place in the league and if that holds, they would have a 25% chance of winning the draft drawing and would not pick any lower than second. “Monday is the most important day for this franchise,” Kings Coach Marc Crawford said Wednesday after practice. “That’s exciting for our fans. If anything, our fans need a victory. And getting the No. 1 pick would be such a huge victory.”
