Randy Moss declares himself greatest receiver of all time [Video]

Share

Randy Moss is the greatest wide receiver to ever play in the NFL.

So says ... Randy Moss.

The San Francisco 49ers receiver told the press at Super Bowl XLVII media day Tuesday that he doesn’t put much stock in statistics -- which is good since statistically he is not the greatest receiver of all time.

“I don’t really live on numbers,” Moss said. “I really live on impact and what you’re able to do out on that field, so I really do think I’m the greatest receiver ever to play this game.”

There’s no question he’s one of the best ever. His 156 receiving touchdowns are second only to Jerry Rice’s 197, and his 15,292 yards are third behind only Rice’s 22,895 and Terrell Owens’ 15,934.

But there we go again talking about numbers. What do you think about Moss’ comments? Do you think he should be considered the best receiver of all time?
