UCLA linebacker Eric Kendricks added the Lott IMPACT Trophy to his collection Sunday.
Kendricks is the second consecutive Bruins player to win the award, which is given to a defensive player for his performance on and off the field. UCLA linebacker Anthony Barr won the award in 2013.
Alabama’s Landon Collins, Duke’s David Helton and Washington’s Hua’oli Kikaha were the other finalists.
Kendricks had 139 tackles and three interceptions this season. He set the UCLA career record with 471 tackles. He was named second-team Walter Camp All-American and won the Butkus Award, though Pac-12 coaches only named him second-team all-conference.
