Dismay (and some optimism) from Pasadena Playhouse devotees

Friday evening a subdued crowd gathered at the Pasadena Playhouse for a performance of its current production, ‘Camelot.’

In interviews in the Playhouse’s historic and picturesque courtyard, some of them expressed disbelief and dismay at the news that the theater company has decided to close its doors Feb. 7 as a result of financial hardship.
