EUGENE, Ore.--What’s America’s pastime? Not baseball. Not football.

Making a buck!

The streets surrounding Hayward Field, site of the U.S. Olympic track and field trials, are filled with entrepreneurs trying to capitalize on the situation. Homeowners and fraternity houses are offering parking spots and water to fans arriving for the event, and don’t tell the lawyers for the International Olympic Committee, but some signs advertising the merchandise are using hand-drawn versions of the Olympic rings.
