Limits placed on Pacquiao-Hatton ticket orders

Ticket sales for the May 2 fight in Las Vegas between Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton for the junior-welterweight fight will begin at 10 a.m. today, and promoters just let it be known they’ve taken a step to help minimize the influence of scalpers.
Buyers will be limited to 10 seats each for tickets priced at $300, $500, $750 and $1,000. The $150 tickets can be purchased only two at a time.
Given that the fight will likely sell out in a few hours, if not minutes, more people will be able to take possession of tickets under this arrangement.
Tickets can be purchased at Ticketmaster at (702) 745-3000, and at www.mgmgrand.com and www.ticketmaster.com. There will no longer be sales at MGM Grand or at Las Vegas Ticketmaster outlets.
