Bob and Mike Bryan, the tennis-playing twins from Camarillo, announced today that they will defend their doubles title next July 26 through Aug. 1 at the L.A. Tennis Open at UCLA. The Bryans recently clinched the 2009 No. 1 ranking by winning the season-ending Barclays ATP World Tour final in London. It is the fifth time the Bryans have been ranked No. 1 to end a season.

U.S. Open champion Juan Martin del Potro (fifth in the world), the 2008 L.A. singles winner and 2008 Australian Open champion Novak Djokovic (third in the world) have also committed to the 2010 tournament. Defending L.A. singles champion Sam Querrey had said last month he also plans to return.
