Some weird news from the “birthplace of aviation pioneers”

I’ve heard of some guys in helicopters trying to see prep football games for free, but I’ve never heard anything about low-flying aircraft as a way to motivate a team -- until now.

Check out this USA Today story about how a prep football player’s mother and her boyfriend thought a little low-altitude, single-engine airplane action over her son’s game in Ohio would be the perfect way to show their support.

Unfortunately for them, all their stupid little stunt got them was some unwanted attention from local police and a couple of FBI and FAA agents who happened to be at the game. Now there’s some folks I’d hate to see at my landing party.
