Hart hurler Rodino commits to UCLA

Hart softball pitcher Destiny Rodino, only a junior, committed to UCLA on Monday. Her senior teammate, outfielder Alexis Caso, committed to Long Island University.

Now that Valencia grad Jordan Taylor has moved on to Michigan, Rodino is poised to be the top pitcher in the Foothill League for the next two years. As a sophomore, she went 20-4 with a 1.63 ERA and 199 strikeouts. She led the Indians to the Southern Section Divsion I finals, where they lost to Valencia, 1-0.
