The Bruins bruised a nemesis last night. Their winning shot -- courtesy of Ryan Huntsman -- fell through the net with four seconds remaining and Wilson nabbed a 57-56 overtime victory over Long Beach Poly, ranked No. 14 in the preseason by The Times.

It was a dramatic opener to the Moore League season. And it’s officially time to watch the Bruins -- winners of four out of five -- especially with the powerhouse play of Michael Wilder (15.7 points and 12 rebounds), Steven Richard (14.4 points) and Huntsman (9.7).
