Paraclete tops All-Olympic League Team

Paraclete posted its best season since 2001 and it seems everybody in the Olympic League took notice.

Senior RB Jerry Kelly was selected the Offensive Player of the Year and senior DB David Green, who finished the season with a state-leading 12 interceptions and is drawing interest from San Jose State, was chosen the Defensive Player of the Year on the All-Olympic League Team.

But they weren’t the only Spirits on the list -- 11 other Paraclete players made the cut. I guess winning your first league title since 2003 and advancing to the divisional semifinals is a good way to get your team back on the prep football radar map.
