Oak Park’s Westgate decides to stay close to home at UCLA

If you’re a UCLA football fan, the subject of recruiting must be growing tiresome. Week after week, it seems as if there’s some disheartening news about a prized prospect who had previously committed to the Bruins suddenly having second thoughts about spending his future in Westwood. It’s got to be maddening.

Figured we’d do things a little differently this time around and offer an encouraging update for once. It appears as if Sean Westgate, a hard-hitting 5-foot-11, 195-pound linebacker from Oak Park, has changed his mind and will attend UCLA instead of his first choice, Arizona.
