Westchester wins one for SoCal at Nike Extravaganza

Concord De La Salle was no match for Westchester at the Nike Extravaganza at Mater Dei.

The Comets shot 62.2% from the field and made 14 of 15 free throws. Five players scored in double figures for the Comets, led by Jarred Dubois and Oscar Bellfield with 13 apiece.

Dwayne Polee had 10 points, but delivered the best slam dunk off an alley-oop pass in the game’s opening minute.

I think the Spartans knew they were in trouble after that.

No time to waste. Fairfax and St. Patrick’s (N.J.) are set to tip off in Game 8.
