It’s pretty so far for Long Beach Poly.

It’s flat-out ugly for Millikan.

The Jackrabbits have a 21-point lead heading into halftime, leading 31-10 in the Southern Section girls’ basketball Division I-AA championship game.

How pretty has it been for Poly? April Cook finessed a sweet behind-the-back pass to Kelli Thompson for the final two points of the half. And, of course, Poly’s Jasmine Dixon has been superb, leading all scorers with 10 points.

Millikan’s Courtney Clements has been contained, scoring only five points.

Halftime is almost over -- let’s seet if it stays pretty for Poly.
