All she did was dominate the cross-country season, and on Saturday Christine Babcock of Woodbridge continued her domination of track with meet-record performances in the 1,600 and 3,200 meters at the Orange County Championships.

Babcock, a Woodbridge senior, peeled nearly three seconds off her previous record in the 1,600 with a time of 4:45.96, and came back in the 3200 and clocked 10:19.98, which was five seconds better than the 10:25.04 standard set by Annie St. Geme of Corona del Mar in 2006.
