It might not rank up there with Long Beach Poly-St. Bonaventure, but there could be a competitive game tonight when Bishop Amat plays host to Diamond Ranch on FSN Prime Ticket ... or maybe not.

The Calpreps.com projection has Bishop Amat winning, 38-14. That sounds about right. After all, the Lancers (3-1), ranked No. 13 in the Southland by The Times, trumpeted themselves as Serra League title contenders a few weeks ago with a 47-39 victory over Orange Lutheran.

Diamond Ranch (1-3) has lost two consecutive games since defeating Ontario Colony, 21-0, and is averaging only 13.5 points a game on offense.

The FSN Prime Ticket telecast starts with a ‘High School Spotlight’ at 7 p.m., followed by the game at 7:30 p.m.
