Football: Marshall’s Oliver doubtful for Belmont game

Los Angeles Marshall running back Preston Oliver, the leading rusher in the City Section, is doubtful for the Barristers’ Northern League game against Belmont at Lake Balboa Birmingham High because of a twisted ankle.

Oliver, a junior, has rushed for 1,613 yards and 26 touchdowns in 168 carries. His rushing total is a single-season school record.
