Boys’ basketball: Mayes, O’Connor lead Westchester

Westchester won its own tournament championship Saturday night, defeating Leuzinger, 63-59, in the final. Dominique O’Connor scored 13 points and Jordin Mayes added 12 points. Mayes was selected the tournament most valuable player, with O’Connor named the tournament most outstanding player.

In the third-place game, Taft defeated Compton Dominguez, 58-49.
