Arroyo Valley Coach Scott Smith could log his 300th career victory tonight when the Hawks play at Pacific--the school Smith attended for three years and later guided to a Southern Section title-game appearance against Glendora in 1998.

Smith has compiled a 299-98 record in 15 seasons at Arroyo Valley and Pacific. His teams have qualified for the playoffs every season and won at least 20 games on 12 occasions.
