Basketball: Collision all-star games set for Saturday

The Collision boys’ and girls’ all-star games, pitting the best players from the Southern Section against their City Section counterparts, will be held Saturday in the North Gymnasium at El Camino College, with the boys’ game scheduled for a 4 p.m. start and the girls’ game a 6 p.m. tip.

The headliners in the boys’ game include Times player of the year Kawhi Leonard and Texas-bound Jordan Hamilton for the Southern Section and City player of the year Dominique O’Connor and Justin Hawkins for the City Section.

The girls’ teams feature McDonald’s All-American Eliza Pierre and All-CIF first-teamer Jazmyne White, among others.
