Football: Birmingham running back Briggs commits to USC

Trajuan Briggs, a running back from Lake Balboa Birmingham, has committed to USC.
It means the Trojans have received commitments from two of the top three running backs in the City Section--Briggs and Taft’s D.J. Morgan. Both come from the West Valley League. The other elite running back, DeAnthony Thomas from Crenshaw, will be only a junior this fall.
Briggs has lots of power and speed.
