Girls’ track: Rancho Verde posts fastest time in 4x100 relay

The Rancho Verde foursome of Ashley Marshall, Alycia Herring, Brittany Bozeman and Asiah Gooden won their heat in the 4x100 relay and posted the fastest qualifying time of 45.96 seconds.

Also qualifying from the Southland for Saturday’s championship were Long Beach Poly (46.05), Gardena Serra (46.21), St. Mary’s Academy (46.64), Paraclete (46.82), Vista Murrieta (46.92), Long Beach Wilson (47.18) and Trabuco Hills (47.25).
