Rancho Verde linebacker Ronald Powell and Gardena Serra receiver-defensive back Robert Woods are among 30 players who have been named to the watch list for 2010 U.S. Army Player of the Year Award, considered among the highest honors in high school football.

The award is given to the most outstanding senior participating in the U.S. Army All-American Bowl on Jan. 9 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. The six finalists will be announced in December.
