Football: Plenty of miscues for Venice

It’s been an awful opening eight minutes for Venice, which has had a fumble inside the Narbonne 10-yard line, a pass that should have been intercepted, a snap that sailed over the punter’s head and an offsides call that gave the Gauchos a first down on fourth-and-three.

The game is still scoreless but Narbonne has the ball at the Venice 25.
