De’Anthony Thomas of Crenshaw has scored on touchdown runs of 43 and 10 yards to give the Cougars a 14-0 lead over De La Salle in the CIF state championship Open Division bowl game.
There’s oohs and aahs in the crowd, and that’s the way it is for Thomas. Most impressively, Crenshaw is showing that it can play with discipline.
De La Salle tried to draw the Cougars offsides with a strange formation on a punt. It didn’t work.
